Cozy Homes

This is a submission for the Newbies Winter Game Jam! I touched game dev a long, long time ago and want to get back into it, so I figured this was a great time. Unfortuantely, I didn't quite make the deadline, but wanted to post what I had so far anyway.

In the game, it's Christmas Eve, and some phenomenon has frozen over the whole town. The goal of the game is to enter every home in the village and "thaw" out the furniture using your little flame fox, including lighting all the fireplaces. (You can also find presents lying around town that need to be thawed!)

Once you have made all the houses cozy once again, you win! But if you take too long, the sun will rise, and Christmas Day will arrive with the homes still frozen.

This is a very early prototype and I used a lot of free assets (especially Kenney's stuff). I'm really looking forward to getting more time to work on this game and adding better sprites, music, and sounds!

Controls:

• KB/Mouse - WASD (or arrows) to move, mouse to aim and shoot
• Gamepad: Left stick to move, right stick to aim and shoot
